About Me

I created Trane as a practice engine to optimize the acquisition of complex skills, combining the best research from cognitive science, expert performance, and optimal learning. It was originally developed to accelerate my own training in music, but I quickly realized its potential for all fields requiring mastery of complex, interconnected skills.

InterviewTraner combines Trane with a structured curriculum to help you master software engineering interviews, starting with algorithms and data structures. It starts with easy array problems and continues all the way to hard math and dynamic programming problems, handling planning, scheduling, and repetition automatically to optimize your preparation.

I built InterviewTraner from firsthand experience. With over ten years of experience, I’ve gone through software engineering interview loops, having worked at Google and multiple startups in Silicon Valley. What I learned is that interview success is not about random grinding. It comes from deliberate, structured practice over the right progression of problems. InterviewTraner is designed specifically to solve that problem.
